Hosting questions
How does hosting an experience work?
You pick an activity, set a group cap (for example 8 seats), choose your date and fee, and publish. Guests book directly on Tickethub.ng. You can approve guest requests or allow instant confirmation.
How much does Tickethub.ng charge for experiences?
Paid experience bookings carry a platform fee per booking. Free meetups have no platform fee. If a guest cancels, the refund is what they paid, less that fee. If the host cancels a session, guests get a full refund, platform fee included.
When do I receive my host payout?
Your earnings become available to request once each session has taken place. Payouts are sent to your Nigerian bank account after review.
What if guests do not show up or cancel?
You set Flexible, Moderate, Strict, or Non-refundable. Guests can cancel from My bookings when the policy window still allows it. If you cancel a session, every guest is emailed and refunded in full, and the platform fee is recovered from your experience earnings.
What does Host Approval mean?
On request or invite listings, guests send a message first. You approve them from the experience Inquiries tab, then they can complete checkout. Instant confirmation listings skip that step.
