Love & Literature – Beyond the Pages

In the busy life of a MIVA student, we often find ourselves lost in lines of study materials, work, or life. But on February 14th, we’re inviting you to a different kind of immersion. Love & Literature is more than a Valentine’s party; it’s a celebration of the stories that move us—the ones written in books and the ones we live every day.

Join us at the Yaba Study Center for an evening where romance meets the stage, and where every attendee is a character in the narrative.

What to Expect

• Creative Showcases: Witness the power of the spoken word, heartfelt poetry, and original stage plays performed by your fellow Mivites.
• Laughter & Drama: Experience live comedy sets and dramatic skits that explore the hilarious and beautiful realities of modern love.
• The Cinema Corner: Lean back and enjoy a curated Valentine’s movie screening—perfect for those who love a classic romance on the big screen.
• Refreshments & Networking: Connect over light snacks and drinks as you meet members from across different departments and levels.
• Anonymous Notes: Write a message to your "Muse" or leave a kind word for a stranger at our dedicated letter-writing station. 
• Your Gate Pass

We are doing things differently. To foster a true spirit of giving and community:

Ticket + Wrapped Gift = Entry

Your gate pass is two-fold. Along with your digital ticket, every attendee must arrive with a wrapped gift. This gift will be part of our Community Gift Exchange, where you will swap your token with another student. Whether it’s a favorite book, a thoughtful accessory, or a sweet treat, let your gift be a reflection of the "Love & Literature" theme.

• Date: February 14th.
• Dress Code: A Touch of White and Red
• Plus One: You are welcome to bring a plus one to share in the experience! Which begs the question, "Who will be your Val?"
