Rendezvous by ELC

Rendezvous by ELC is a networking event created by Entertainment Law Connect for practicing and prospective entertainment industry professionals.

The first edition of the Rendezvous is themed “Fela Kuti: A Case Study on the Importance of Intellectual Property Laws to the Creative Business”. We aim at analyzing the life and works of the Legendary Musician, Fela Kuti while outlining the impacts of Intellectual Property laws on his works and its relevance to the creative business today.  We intend to examine a number of events during the life of Fela Kuti and how he ensured that his intellectual property works were properly protected. We will also look into his dealings with industry professionals and the working relationship between them.
