RHYTHM IN MOTION by BLACKBONES THEATRE KOMPANY

RHYTHM IN MOTION is a celebration of our cultural heritage through the rhythm of the beats and movements. Rhythm in motion connects us to our roots, which is the foundation of our identity, shaping the unique qualities that makes us who we are. It is time to embrace our roots and share our story. Let’s build bridges, not walls. Let’s celebrate our culture, not fear it. Let us be deeply rooted. Hence, the main purpose of this event is to use various aspects of the performing arts (dance, drama, music and poetry)to portray who we are, our love for our culture and the stories that go with it, and to encourage the youths to channel their energy towards developing and nurturing their skills and talents thereby making positive impacts in the society. This is aimed at promoting skills and talent development in Abuja and Nigeria at large.
